Apple VS Android

By Andrey H.

Apple and Android have been in constant battle to put out the best phone product they can. Apple has recently come out with the newest iPhone, the iPhone 4s. The following compares the Samsung Galaxy with the iPhone 4.

The Apple iPhone 4 came out on June 4 ,2010. The iPhone 4 was the most popular phone among the other iPhones getting over 600,000 preorders. Apple clearly stated that they were doing the best they could to keep up with the orders. The principal at Hopkinton Middle High School, Christopher Kelly, owns a iPhone 4, and he says “it is a wonderful tool that helps me keep myself organized in my day to day life.” The iPhone 4 is equipped with a 5mp camera with a LED flash and a front facing camera that allows for Face Time. The iPhone 4 has so many cool apps for gaming and entertainment, there are thousands of apps on the Apple market. The new iPhone 4s has grabbed the attention of all Apple users, the number of preorders is climbing fast. Apple has made it possible for iPhones to use Verizon be their carrier because AT&T does not get the greatest service all the time. Verizon is high up on the list of great service providers.

The Android Samsung Galaxy is one of the many Android phones that have been popularized. There are so many companies that work to put out Android Phones that are compatible with the Android apps and programming. A Samsung Galaxy user at Hopkinton High School, Adam L, claims that his Samsung Galaxy “is a great device that helps me keep all my media in one place, music, photos, videos, texting, everything.” Android is in direct connection with Google, meaning that if you have a Gmail account, your calendar, contacts, and other Google services are at your fingertips.

Apple and Android will always be in competition to put out the best phone with the best features possible. People will choose between either the iPhone or and Android phone based on their budget and what kinds of features they need, or are looking for.
